What is the bank hold process, and why is it important?
The bank hold process is a standard procedure where a small amount, typically $5, is temporarily held by your banking institution when you use your card for transactions. This hold is a precautionary measure to ensure that funds are available to cover the transaction. Not all banking institutions use this procedure, and it is important to note that this process is not a procedure conducted by Refresh. Rest assured that this hold will be released once the transaction is completed. If you have questions about a hold you’ve been charged, your banking institution will be able to guide you through this process.
